Can’t wait to meet you!

Will you be showing any of the show, youth events, or the winning animals?
Yes, yes and yes!
Yesterday my crew and I spent all day covering showmanship & the fitting contest. We also got lots of shots of showmanship participants prepping their animals before the show. We’ve already interviewed several showmanship kids and plan to interview more!
Our crew will be shooting bits and pieces of each and every senior show, some in more detail, some in less detail. Today we got quite a bit of Nubian coverage because it was such a large and impressive show. We had all three cameras on Trinity when Sasha won Grand Champion Nubian, and when Trinity, Karen & Fauna were awarded the special Nubian trophy in memory of Karen Senn. What a great moment to capture!
At the very least, we are trying to cover the champion line-up for every different breed. We’ve also installed two different timelapse cameras in the rafters of the arena so that we have timelapses of the senior shows.
The only major aspect of the National Show that we aren’t covering in detail are the junior shows. While the junior shows are an important part of Nationals, we decided that it is the senior shows that we are most interested in, especially because dairy production and the milk aspect of goat ownership / showing is super important to our story. Showing the beautiful adult goats in full milk is much more relevant to our story than showing the kids being shown, even if they are adorable
